Rethymno Palace, Adelianos Kampos

Upon arrival, the rooms seemed quite small and poorly furnished, with leaks in the toilet and an issue with the air conditioning. However, having a separate bathroom and portable air conditioner was a nice touch, especially in the room on the top floor.

Despite these initial issues, the room I stayed in was fine, big enough, and always clean. I particularly enjoyed the room on the top floor, which offered a really nice view.

The location was excellent, close to delicious tavernas and bars, just a 20-minute drive from Rethymno, and right off the beach. The dining options were satisfactory with good quality food, but a bit repetitive each day. Overall, the hotel served as a good base for exploring Crete's corners.
